Nairobi Custom Hand Tied Fishing Flies
I am pleased and proud to announce that GOF Flies and Lures is now the sole distributors in North America for Nairobi Flies, Ltd. of Nairobi, Kenya. They are a small company comprised almost completely of members of the Kikuyu tribe. Most of them speak little or no English. But their work speaks all languages. I find it incredible.
| A few months ago I was introduced to a group of fly tiers from Kenya. I requested some samples and they sent me over a hundred! To say that I was impressed is a gross understatement; I was flabergasted! The high quality of their hooks and tying materials was very impressive but paled when compared to the quality of the finished product. Each fly is a work of art, absolutely impeccable.
